1:11.9	sure that we heard their voices because this is a really powerful step that they've taken.

1:17.2	And the starvation of Gaza, to be clear, we're going to give a little bit of exposition here
1:22.4	just to tee up the conversation, was telegraphed and explicitly stated as Israeli policy two days after October 7th,
1:30.4	on October 9th, 23, former defense minister Yoav Galant, who's now wanted by the ICC for war crimes,
1:37.1	said, quote, I have ordered a complete siege on the Gaza Strip. There will be no electricity,
1:41.2	no food, no fuel, everything is closed. We are fighting human animals and we are acting accordingly.
1:45.7	Subsequently, Israel did just that.
