inauguration of Donald Trump for the second time, but the media coverage of it and especially

the media's coverage of some of the key players

in this new administration. Yeah, so there's a lot to go over. A lot of, a lot happened in the last

24 hours. This is recorded on Tuesday morning, so it's been about 24 hours. We are trying to recap

the news, the way the media covered it. Overall, not hours. We are trying to recap the news the way the media

covered it. Overall, not great. For all the problems of quote unquote, the resistance,

namely it's obsessive and unproductive focus on foreign conspiracies from the elites. I think

the rank and file was a little more earnest, if not, you know, kind of brought into that

framework by MSNBC and New York Times and, you know, kind of brought into that framework by MSNBC

in New York Times and, you know, Washington Post. But this time there's no resistance. I made a joke

on Twitter, or on the blue sky. I forget which one at this point. I feel like pure shit just

want the resistance back, you know, kind of talking about the ways in which there was a lot of

bad things, obviously, about that in terms of how elites sort of

shaped it into a neoconservative project. But there was also a lot of good things. You know, I was at

the March on January 21st. I was also there for J20 and was near where all the, you know, the J20

protesters were arrested. And then, of course, I went back the next day to the, you know, pejoratively referred to as the pussy hat protest.
