camping news. Welcome back, everybody. The U.S. State Department has issued an advisory to Americans

traveling in certain parts of Mexico due to ongoing security operations and related road blockages

and criminal activity in the wake of the Mexican government's

killing of a cartel leader. The Canadian government has issued similar warnings. Many RVers from

the U.S. and Canada travel to the Baja Peninsula in the winter and many even own property there.

In the wake of the killing, cartel members have started vehicle fires blocking roads and clashing

with authorities and popular tourist destinations.

They're sort of an unspoken truce between the Mexican government and the cartels that if

the government doesn't mess with the cartel operations too much, then the cartels don't mess with

tourism much.

So this is sort of a disruption of that.

Baja is divided into two states,
