Andrade has been on following some reporting by Dave on his WW departure.

That's Andrade's, not Dave's, WW departure.

Last week in the Wrestling Observer newsletter, Dave reported on the circumstances of, uh, Andrade, sorry, his AEW

departure and the nature of how he left in early 2023 and how it caught AEW by surprise.

He reported basically that they were of the impression that he was staying and signing a new contract

and then he just went, whoosh, I'm out of here, Chief, and caught them by surprise.

What he wrote in the newsletter was Andrade gave Cannes the belief he was staying.

Can believe they had an agreement for a renewal that wasn't yet signed.

He pushed him until the end,

even for those in wrestling who knew him,

said he was going to WWE.

Then his contract expired and he left.

So yeah, he's basically saying that Andrade caught them off guard and...
