Alright, we're gonna kick this one off by talking about some Tony Can comments from a couple of days ago

that have kind of re-entered discussion because Dave Meltzer has done a bit of an editorial on it and stuff.

So, I mean, the banner headline coming out of this is his belief. The AEW has really

closed the gap on WWE in meaningful ways, apparently. So he was speaking. He did an appearance on

the Battleground podcast, and he was prowing dynamite this week, basically. And he talked about being a challenger brand and all of that stuff and he said i think that

i mean some if you've heard a tony can interview before right you know the structures he uses he's very well media trained now and he uses his structures

so he said i think AWs we're the best wrestle i think that we have the best roster of wrestlers in the world and that we're putting on consistently awesome shows. This

has been an awesome year for AEW. We're the Challenger brand in pro wrestling. And I think

that we've closed the gap in a very meaningful way in 2025 in a number of key metrics. So

on Wrestling Observer Radio to where he was like

technically in terms of TV ratings

that's kind of true because the A.A.W.

Decline with these new Nielsen things

has not been as sharp as it has for Smackdown

and obviously raw is complicated because it's on Netflix,

but, like, most studies suggest that the live viewership of Raw is down on Netflix

versus when it was on television.
