Going to that university was for one a blessing, something that I'm grateful for and, you know,

nice time to step into a new journey and attack it full head of steam.

When obviously some circumstances here changed, Gus Mazan was the offensive coordinator,

now he's retired. What's that been like for you? How did you handle that? And kind of what have your conversation has been with the staff since then? You know, I feel like the offense, really the whole team as a whole, we respect Gus for the things he's done for this program. And the knowledge he poured into us with his time, with my time being with him. I was here for a month with him, but even with that month, I still learned a lot of things about this offense coming from him. So, you know, we really just ready to ball, man, ready to do what we got to do to get us to the next step. Hey, Trey, can you just talk about Coach Martin, Cam Martin, and what stood out to you about him and dealing with him as a transfer in now over the last six or so weeks?

Really just the fact that we could connect outside of football.

You know, I feel like athletes in general could get so tied into, wanted to perfect your craft, and we forget about the bonds that are special to build.

And that's what Cam helped me realize, you know, the bonds that I make in this university

in this community around this program are going to last me for a long time, light time.

I know it's only been a little bit of time since you guys started pivoting to learn Coach

Norvell's offense. Any kind of differences that stand out to you, things that you like about it that you think you might fit in well with?

So far, I'm going to say, you know, just his offense requires leadership.

A lot of it, not just from a specific position, but from the whole team as the whole offense as a whole.

So really just learning the schemes, learning what route I got on this play, what right

I got on that play, where I lined up with it to the boundary, to the field.

It's really just an attacking it.

Trey, I know it's only been about a month, but what are some of your early impressions

of some of the guys in the locker room,

particularly with you in the running back room?

For one, I'm going to say the intent that the team comes with, you know, coming into this year,
