and I do think there's been a major overreaction to spring training just the way that it is nowadays

with all the access to it and the film and the clips on social media.

But the Yankees were thin

going in. They were a team

that wasn't built with great depth.

And the one area of strength was that starting

rotation. They've already taken a couple of hits

in that regard with Clark Schmidt

and Louise Heel. And who knows how serious

the Louise Heel issue is going to be.

But whether it's John Carl Stanton, who's MIA, DJ Lemay, who we knew was useless anyway,

like the Yanks have been banged up here, ravaged by injury to start, a team that was already depleted or not depleted,

but already lacking depth coming in.

I think the Yanks have some concerns here before we get started with the season.

This feels like NFL training camp and a bad one.
