Coming to you from a hotel room in New York City on Tuesday, May 31st, 2016, thank you to everyone

who came out to Douglas movies last night at the

good old Gramercy Theater. Next show there is on August 7th. It's on sale now. It'll be the 30th time

we've taped an episode at the Gramercy. And to celebrate, everyone in attendance will get a hard stock poster celebrating, commemorating the event, and some free popcorn.

The next Wilbur Theatre show in Boston is also on sale. It's happening on Saturday, October 8th at 420.

In the case of both of those theaters, I think if you buy from the box office,

you don't skip the service charges. Sunday, I saw two musicals here in New York City,

and while I didn't love either, they both have plenty of reasons to check them out,

but specifically I loved the lead performer in both. Carmen Kuzak is

versatile and charming in Bright Star, the Stephen Martin penned musical that is struggling to

find an audience in the year of Hamilton. And Benjamin Walker is very amusing as Patrick Bateman

in the poorly received American Psycho.

I laughed a lot at both of those shows, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend them.

I mean, I do, but I don't.

Bright Star is old-fashioned.

American Psycho is very high-tech and bloody.

Check them out if either of those things sounds good to you.
