All right, how are we all doing?

It's been a while since we had a playoff kicking the balls.

We got a lot of regular season kicking the balls, a lot of

horrible disgusting regular season losses, some at 2 o'clock in the morning in the West Coast,

some in the middle of the afternoon, some at a normal time at night, we now

experienced a playoff kicking the balls and it's one of those playoff losses you could

feel coming from the beginning. You could feel coming from the beginning you could feel it from the

beginning you could feel it when Pete Alonzo trips over his own goddamn bat when he

grounds into the easiest double play in the world.

You could feel it when they had a runner-on second and nobody out and didn't score.

You could feel it when Pete struck out meekly with a runner on second and didn't score. You could really feel it when they had

two on and nobody out in the sixth inning and they could not score. You just knew three runs was never going to be enough and it wasn't. And

Phil Maton and look here's my issue with Phil Maton. Phil Maton was cooked. He was cooked. He had pitched three days in a row until

yesterday when he finally didn't pitch. He has pitched a ton lately.

So Mende felt like he had to go to him in the eighth thing

because you looked down at who he had used,

he had used Ryan Stanek, he'd used Reed Garrett,

where else was he going? So decides I'm going to try it with Phil

Maton once Phil Maton gives up a home run to Jackson Churio and the lead is gone

Obviously you got to deal with the three-batter minimum.

Can you have someone warmed up and ready to take his ass out?
