I have to say I was talking to Dennis Wazack last night on the Turn on the Jets

Free Agency Recap Show. And we both said that McCagnin's so hard to read. He plays it

close to the vest. We both thought that McCagnan would go into the draft, sit there, wait

to see how it played out, maybe investigate the idea of trading up, but ultimately sit at number six and let the draft play out.

Well, guess what? Within hours of Dennis and I having that conversation, McCagnin showed once again that nobody has any idea what he's thinking, which in a way is good because it keeps people on their toes, makes a huge and a bold

move today, and I could not be happier dealing both second round picks this year and a second

rounder next year to jump up from number six to number three, which is exactly what I've been

calling for him to do. Joe and Kyle Fahey, Joe Caparoso and Kyle Fahey, are with me, and I know that they both

love the move as well, so I'm going to go to them in a second.

But I could not be more excited because now this guarantees that Darnold, Rosen, or

Mayfield will be on the board for them at number three, no matter what.

My only slight bit of trepidation is that maybe this is a move

for josh allen i'm going to for now put that to the side and not even try to think about it i'm

really pumped because it looks like finally the jets are about to solve their quarterback issue
