Today on the podcast, we are going to continue talking about contract extensions.

Yesterday, we discussed the news that the New York Jets are in negotiations for long-term deals with Sauce Gardner and Garrett Wilson, and that should be priority number one right now for this football team. But after the

jets are able to secure long-term extensions with their two stars, I think there are three other

players the Jets should look into extending if the price is right. Those players are Elijah Verrett Tucker,

Brees Hall, and Jermaine Johnson. And on today's show, we're going to focus on what the right

price might be for these three players. And we today's show, we're going to focus on what the right price might be

for these three players. And we'll start with the guy who might be the trickiest. And that is

Jermaine Johnson. He is the third of the first round draft picks from 2022. The Jets selected, the other two

of course being Sauce and Garrett. Like Sauce Gardner and Garrett Wilson, the Jets have picked up Germain Johnson fifth

year option. So Jermaine Johnson is under contract for both 2025 and 2026. He is now two years away

from free agency. And as is the case with the other two players we're going to discuss, he's not as

important as Sauce Gardner or Garrett Wilson.

You know, Sauce Gardner and Garrett Wilson are the two key pieces of the puzzle on this football team.

These are the players you absolutely have to keep.

And I'm a big believer that when you have star level talent, you do everything in your power to keep that star level talent.
