A big shout out to you every dayers. If you're new to the show, this is a daily podcast covering the New York Jets with new episodes each day through the week, Monday through Friday. Today we are looking to the future for the New York Jets. The 2025 season just concluded.

That means that we now know the up 2026 opponents for the Jets. We'll offer an early preview of what

those games could look like. We'll talk about why this team is in desperate need of an infusion

of credibility. That's critical. But we will begin by talking about the coaching situation for the New York Jets.

And there's not really any big news on that front.

The New York Jets, by all accounts, there have been multiple reports that Woody Johnson is very comfortable with Aaron Glenn,

that Aaron Glenn's job was never in danger this season.

And this team is heading into the offseason

looking to Glenn's second season in 2026. I think this is a point where you have to ask why

that's so. Now, I fully acknowledge there are good arguments that getting rid of a coach

after one season comes with complications, particularly for a franchise that has lacked stability and lack success to the way the New York Jets have.

You know, it creates upheaval.

You know, there are, there's a reason that the unstable franchises in this league have a tough time figuring it out.

If you're constantly changing coaches, that means you're constantly changing systems. You bring in a new coach one year, bringing new players to run his system. Well, you get rid of him, then you have to bring in a new coach with a new system. That means even new players. There's never any continuity. So, you know, I acknowledge that. And I also acknowledge that the Jets are not a team with a great reputation in this league. And we'll talk about that a little bit later.

But I look across the NFL landscape right now.

I look at what the Jets did this season.
