jets are better off using the draft than a trade to address their glaring need at wide

receiver.

We'll discuss comments Aaron Glenn made that suggested he's already chosen his starting

quarterback and it's the right decision.

But we'll begin by talking about what Darren Moojee said yesterday at the NFL League meeting.

Yes, it is that time of year.

And I enter the NFL league meeting each year with a degree of trepidation because at some

point during the festivities as the Jets usually

allow Woody Johnson to speak on supervised to the media. I don't know why they do it. I beg them

not to do it every year. And when Woody Johnson speaks to the media, Woody Johnson says something

dumb to the media. So it's a virtual guarantee that we're going to begin tomorrow's episode,

talking about whatever ridiculous thing came out of the owner's mouth today.

But for now, we could talk about what came out of the general manager's mouth yesterday.

And I don't think we got a ton of substance from Darren Mugi.

The caveat to that is when you're talking with a GM at this point of the year, I don't care which of the 32

teams you are, you're not really going to get a ton of information. No team wants to show
