It was one of the most eventful Tuesdays in New York Jets history yesterday as the team decided to fire Robert Sala, the first in-season coaching change for the team in almost 50 years.

Today we're going to talk about what this could mean for general manager Joe Douglas.

We're going to talk about an offense that it's not clear who's in charge right now.

But first, we're going to talk about

the owner, Woody Johnson, who made the decision to fire Robert Salah yesterday and then spoke to the

media. And whenever we break down Woody Johnson comments to the media, we're going to hear some

things that don't make a whole lot of sense. It's going to be a Woody Johnson press conference

show. And those are always a lot of fun.

One of the things that struck me about yesterday was that Joe Douglas was nowhere to be found.

You know, you would think that on it, you would think that the team firing its coach would involve the

GM in some ways. And what he claims that he called and consulted Douglas, but what he says, this is

ultimately my decision. Douglas did not address the press yesterday i mean i was making a joke is joe douglas

still the general manager of this team what's he doing is he he's kind of like the pluto of nfl general

managers you may remember like 15 20 years ago there was a planet named pluto it was the ninth planet
