Today we are breaking down the second straight win for the New York Jets.

They defeated the Cleveland Browns 27 to 20 in week 10 action.

A wild week is capped with a wild New York Jets victory. Of course, the Jets were the most active

team in the NFL at the trade deadline on Tuesday, and they sent away two of their three best

players. Sauce Gardner is now a cult. Quinn and Williams is now a cowboy. And I think a lot of people, when the Jets made those trades, figured that the team was waving the white flag on the season. And look, I think everybody knows that this is not going to go down as a successful season for the New York Jets. The team will not end its playoff drought. It will be a 15th straight year with no playoffs. The team is not going to have

a winning record. This will be a 10th straight losing season for this team. But despite all that,

and despite the fact the Jets are clearly looking towards the future more than the present,

these games still matter for the players, and they still matter for the coaches. As a player,

you don't have a long career in this league. You may only have a couple of years. And you always

have to fight to keep your spot in this league. You know, you have to put good film out there.

And a coaching staff, particularly a first year coaching staff, it may be a cliche, but they

are trying to establish culture.

And you establish a culture through winning games.

So while I understand fans want to tank, I understand that some people view losses as better

than wins because it helps the Jets get a better draft pick.

There's nobody in that locker room who views things that way. And this

league can be unpredictable. You know, who would have thought that the Jets subtract two of their three best
