So, folks, in this one, we were going to talk about, you know, and we're going to talk about what pre-agents we think the Giants should pursue or can pursue. But first, I guess we'll start off with some news where the Giants released linebacker, Bobby O'Caricay. I guess not too much of a surprise. He's, you know, frees up about $9 million in cap space and $5 million in dead money. But I've said before, I don't care about dead money. It's all the Broncos about dead money. I mean, come on. But freeze up $9 million in cap space. O'Karek was signed three years ago, four-year deal. A couple highlights of his Giants career. He had over 140 tackles twice, which no one's ever done with the giants really had a good

year that first year that wink was still here and you know i guess you could say most importantly was the

giant's nominee for walter peyton man of the year and chris you put out a post on x before a good

person or better person a good player better person or something to that effect.

Yeah. I know if you wanted to get into that at all. No, no. You know, Bobby was a class act. I hate to see him and go, but this is the real life. This is the hard part of the NFL. This is the sucky part of the NFL, you know, tough cuts. Giants in that, Giants need a lot of cap cap money and he was a prime candidate, you know,

and it's going to be a couple more coming down to pike. There'd be some of restructured contracts.

The Giants have to free up a lot of money, man. The new league year is a week away. And they need

some money, man, you know, and this is just the beginning. You're going to see some other guys.

You're going to see contracts restructured to free up money to try to get a couple of free agents in here. You know, so it's sad to see Bobby go. You're still a real good player. Like I said, you know, just a great guy, just a great, great guy to cover.

And he'll land on his feet.

He's still a good.

He's still a guy.

He's still going to contribute to a defense.

And I wish him luck.

Yeah.

Well, so, you know, the plan now is obviously free agency and or the draft, maybe both.

But you would think that Mike and McFadden now is almost a certainty to get signed, resigned to a one-year deal just because behind him there's really nothing, right? And Mike McFadden's an okay player. I'm not saying he's the solution, but I would think that they'd re-sign him now. But the other candidates to, you know, get either restructured or cut, there's a,

there's quite a few of them. I mean, Graham Ganoe is an easy one. John Runyon might be. You know, we can again, it's speculation season. But like you said, the giant's going to make more moves to free up more cap space and really go for it. And look, there's a lot of things out there, like going after Tyler Linderbaum and and Kenneth Walker.
