This week between Christmas and New Year have just knocked me off schedule, and I look

forward to getting back into my schedule, but nevertheless, I woke up this morning, Saturday

morning with the start, just with the thought, oh, I did not record the prayer request

yesterday.

So, my apologies, I do not take myself too seriously in these things, and I know that

the Lord is sovereign over all of it.

So he is doing, even through my delinquency, the things that he wants done.

So maybe you and I are supposed to be praying for these things today on New Year's Eve.

Okay, as we come to prayer today, let's remind ourselves who it is we're talking to.

This is the God of the universe, our Heavenly Father, the one who cares for us like no one

else does, and He has committed Himself to us through His Son, Jesus Christ, and has

by our faith in Him that we can come into the throne of grace to find grace and help

for our time of need.
