My name is Taylor Rockwell with hands in the air.

Joining me for a final episode of 2020, a New Year's Eve edition of the Total Soccer show.

It's Ryan Bailey, who did have a hand in the air, but no longer does.

I only have one hand in the air because I had a diet beverage in my other hand, but I was there with you in terms of enthusiasm because my gosh,

where did 2020 go? Please don't leave us 2020. You've been so wonderful. Man, like, I keep,

there have been two big moments that did make 2020 a little bit better. One was the election.

One was having a child.

But those things aside, it's been a rough one.

And reading a lot of like season or year review pieces, it has been a reminder of like,

oh, right, that happened this year too.

It's been a rough one, Ryan Bailey.

And yet, with all that said, I don't think I would be ending it drinking a diet beverage. Are you drinking a diet caffeine-free beverage at that? Correct. It is in a golden can with some red lettering on it. They're not a sponsor, so I'll say no more. All right. So I have a question about this, though, about the unnamed cola sponsor. I guess they're not a sponsor. The unnamed cola beverage that we're not going to name. I've never understood the purpose of caffeine-free. Is it just that you like the taste but you don't want like to the up? Like what is it exactly? So here's the thing. I drink a lot of tea during the day, maybe like seven or eight cups. And I've started to, after a certain time of day, I'll switch to decaf bags. I don't know why, because I don't

think the caffeine affects me that much. And I also, when I do drink a diet beverage, I try to buy the caffeine-free ones. Once again, I don't know why, because I don't think it hits me that much. But I will say, when we recorded our show yesterday, I was drinking a giant coffee, and I felt pretty bus during the show

and maybe I was speaking at double speed

I had to listen back.
