One of the biggest names in streaming of course for a long time is and has been and will probably continue to be

Netflix. Netflix really changed the game. I mean it was a alacart on demand service it wasn't like a regular TV station that had hey at 8 o'clock this starts at 9 o'clock this starts at 10 o'clock this starts and it's not like you even had to wait. Monday you can watch one episode,

the next Monday you can watch another episode.

They just came out, order it on demand,

watch it whenever you want,

and they drop all their seasons at once.

Well, they've been changing a little bit. They've been changing a little bit and

we know they're going to start experimenting even more moving forward with maybe releasing

weekly releases of some shows. I personally think that is the smart thing to do

even though I'm personally a binger. But it looks like they might even be

making some changes in becoming more, more like a traditional TV network a little bit.

Netflix is now testing in France a linear television style channel filled with

Netflix content. Basically it'll be a channel that you have that something starts at 8

then something else starts at 10 then something else starts at 930 and then something else

starts at whatever o'clock it is and it's going to run linearly. Now this is what they're being

described. This is what's written over at The Verge. Netflix is testing a

program linear content channel in France, Variety reported. The channel called

Netflix Direct will be available to Netflix streaming subscribers

and will provide content from its existing streaming library in a linear format
