What's up, SDS Nation, and welcome to Survive and The Survivor, the show that brings you the very best guests in all of true crime on trending criminal cases and cases that make

you scratch your head and say what is going on here. And this is certainly one of those cases.

Back on September 19th of last year, which is not that long ago, because we're talking September of 2024,

in Letcher County, Kentucky, which is a rural Appalachian County, in the great state of Kentucky

and the bluegrass state, a judge, Kevin Mullins, who at the time was 54 years old, he is sitting

in his chambers when his previous or former bailiff,

now the sheriff of Letcher County, walks in and essentially assassinations the judge,

shooting him, I believe it was eight gunshots, uh, that struck him

and ultimately killed him. Uh, the accused is again, former sheriff Sean Mickey Steins,

43, Judge Kevin Mullins, 54 years old. He was a long-time district judge for the 47th judicial district in Kentucky.

And so on the show today, and we did invite Elizabeth Jones, aka Hillbilly Crime.

She seems to be a little MIA, which is not unusual, considering it as Memorial Day.

But we have here, best guess, you're looking at him, the general, General Mark Davidson.

Not everyone goes by the general, but he does.

And he is an active DA for five different counties in rural areas of Tennessee.

And then, not that Mark is not, but Gavin is a friend.

I hung out with him in the city of Brotherly Love.

And Gavin is looking very good here, I must say.

He's got the new background, the blue-ve-like.
