| 0:53.0 | And he signed obviously he signed some kind of agreement when he left the employee of the White House that he would stick to confidentiality and not bad mouth them. |
| 1:04.0 | Well, the problem with that is you can't stop an American citizen from expressing their points of view on the government. |
| 1:12.0 | If they want to talk about the government they can. Now you can go ahead and sue them for defamation, for libel, whatever. |
| 1:20.0 | And you can try to get money out of them. But you know it's it's not illegal to say bad things to criticize the president of the United States. |
| 1:30.0 | So it's really kind of a problem. I think that the president's lawyers are going after Bannon like this. |
| 1:39.0 | Because you again it's freedom of speech. |
| 1:45.0 | And that is probably the most important freedom that we have as far as speech is concerned in criticizing your government. |
| 1:54.0 | If you can't do that then this isn't America anymore. |
| 1:58.0 | Now once you've left his employee and you signed some kind of agreement that you won't you won't divulge certain things that's a little bit different. |
| 2:05.0 | You can't obviously divulge state secrets or campaign secrets. |
| 2:11.0 | But to stop his criticism, I don't even see how that's possible. |
| 2:17.0 | And a lot of a lot of these agreements don't hold up in court. And so whether or not you'd even get any money out of him in a lawsuit. |

| 2:30.0 | But they do say during the campaign, a then candidate Trump had all campaign staff signing on disclosure agreement, which requires the staff according to campaign sources to refrain from any disparaging comments against the candidate's family or the Trump campaign and organization. |
