There's great news coming out of California.

King News Summit appears has released his people from shackles.

That's right, the masked mandate has finally been lifted in California.

So congratulations to all my brothers and sisters still stuck in California.

You are finally free.

Now there's several places where you still have to wear a mask.

So let's be clear, here's where the rules are.

You can be outdoors, but if you are wearing a mask, here it is.

Mask mandate officially ends in California, but many still plan to keep them handy.

Well, why do you need them handy? Apparently you're still going to need them for public transit indoors in K-12 schools,

childcare and other youth settings, health care settings, which include long-term care facilities, state and local correctional facilities and detention centers, homeless shelters, emergency shelters, and cooling centers.

I even know what a cooling center is, but I guess you've got to wear a mask there.

Anyway, when we think about masks, and for Texas, it's like almost like it's history.

We've forgotten about masks. You're just now like taking them up in California.

And I understand that there has been some pushback from, I guess, liberals in California that really don't want to let go of the mask.

I guess it's an identity they don't want to let go of.

And so for those people and for these people that are going to have to wear them in schools and things,

I guess a decent mask study is still prevalent or relevant, and a great study was just done last week.

This is what it looked like. This is the headline.

Dangerous pathogens found on children's masks. When they looked at these masks, what they find will happen to the mask were contaminated with one or more strains of pneumonia causing bacteria.

One third were contaminated with one or more strains of meningitis causing bacteria.

One third were contaminated with dangerous antibiotic resistant bacterial pathogens.
