And tonight, the Lakers tried to narrow the series to 3-2 in game five here at home.

Darius, thank you for the PEP talk yesterday. I'm certainly in better spirits today. And so let's talk a little bit about what the Lakers need to do to narrow this series back to a three-two deficit. We talked a little bit yesterday about the lineup change of potential things that had happened behind it. Obviously, we lamented a lot about why that game went the way that it did in the fourth quarter. But I'd actually like to start today's pod with why it went the way that it did in the third

quarter where I thought there was some proof of concept in that third quarter of how they could really stress the wolves where if they just, I don't know, made a sub. I think that they win that game. I think they were onto something. Might be too little too late. But kind of talk to me about that change and about how, like,

kind of going into a game that affects tonight's game.

So you know, it's interesting, Pete, because we often think about lineups as the group that

works best together cohesively for your side. But the other part of the lineup discussion is

obviously what works against the other

team. Exactly. This is such a good point. It's way more this, I think, than anything else. Yeah.

Mike was sending us lineup data in our text thread, and he was noting some of the successful

lineups that the Lakers have had. And I've seen this discussion online as well that the Lakers small ball group hasn't been

as successful this series as what they had been to close the season.

And one of the reasons why is because I think the small ball lineup has mostly played

against a very good antidote lineup that the. The wolves have been throwing out there.
