Hey there, folks. It is Wednesday, February 25th, and we are getting a new look at some court documents in the case of singer David, who's been named a suspect in the case of a dead 14-year-old girl who was found in the trunk

of his Tesla.

Well, these new court documents make clear that there is a grand jury investigation, and he is,

in fact, the target of that investigation.

This is such a slow-moving story.

Her body was discovered last September robes. Here we are, February. Haven't heard a whole lot. We're learning more, I guess, on the record now than it seems we've learned in months. Yes, we have been waiting for months. I think it's fair to say at one point we were checking daily, but certainly we check weekly to see about

any updates, any real information surrounding this case. And finally, finally, the only reason

why we're getting some information is because apparently his father doesn't want to cooperate

with the investigation. And so because of that, court filings had to be made,

and now we are getting a clearer picture of what's actually happening behind the scenes. Grand juries

convene in secrecy. And that is why we haven't had really any, any verifiable information coming out

about this case until now.

These documents say that, yes, this grand jury is meeting, and they are being asked to

decide whether or not charges should be coming against singer David. A reminder, David,

it's spelled D4VD. This is a thing a lot of artists are doing now.

It's an online thing.

It's a TikTok, social media type thing, but they replace letters with numbers.

But David is his name.
