Welcome to the Speak the Language Podcast presented by ONX Hunt. Today is an exciting day for a lot of reasons, Brad, for one.

0:14.0

For one is Halloween.

0:16.0

Well, that's exciting. I was leaning more to how did it feel when you walked outside your door this morning and it wasn't 80 degrees?

0:22.0

Well, it was in the 40s and when I say Halloween is, of course, it's a fun time of year. I guess all of us remember the fun times around Halloween, but as we've got an odor, Halloween exactly means cold weather.

1:30.0

And that's the man me and you living in different worlds.

1:33.0

Is he in Montana?

1:34.0

He's in North Dakota. Yeah, he was bird hunting.

1:37.0

Well, we don't have to worry about snow, but we do have a frost for the next two mornings, corn to the forecast.

1:46.0

I think it's going to be 31 tonight and then 28, which is great for November. I mean, that's several weeks ahead of our normal frost time.

1:53.0

So I want to talk about starting out like what I drove up on when I got here this morning.

1:59.0

So I drove to five miles. It's the Primos camp where we're y'all are at now.

2:03.0

And when I pulled up here to record this podcast, there was tractors, there was trailers with bags of sea.

2:09.0

There was do all. I mean, y'all look like y'all are getting ready to go.

2:14.0

Oh, it looked like it. It isn't a commercial form operation, but I feel like the last several years doing stuff on my personal place with all the Primos stuff.

2:25.0

And then I have several other landowners I helped. I feel like I'm a commercial farmer, but I'm farming like 130 acres this year.
