We've got a lot to talk about on today's show.

We've got a playoff update.

Unfortunately, the Boston Celtics make it all the way to the NBA finals.

I would say tragedy struck, but let's face it.

A real tragedy is what we saw happened earlier today

with Bill Walton, of course, rest in peace to an NBA legend in Bill Walton.

But the Boston Celtics, unfortunately, make it all the way to the NBA finals and an Eastern

conference that just kind of evaporated in front of them.

But we'll talk a little bit about that. We'll talk about the West their chances. Now it's up to the West, whether it's the Mavs, whether it's the wolves, most likely it's going to be the MAMS that are up to Rio. It's up to the West now to prevent the dark timeline from occurring here with a Celtics championship, which would be really tough, really tough for the NBA in general.

Let's face it, the league is now pulling for the Western Conference.

And I know there's some other people out there that may be Celtics fans, but let's face it,

we're going to look at this through purple and gold lenses.

So hopefully the West can come through and get the job done.

We do need to talk a little bit about, of course, the Lakers, their coaching search,

what's going on there.

And something we're starting to see here in the league in terms of how you build out a

playoff contender and how playoff math is actually shifting right now before our very eyes.

So we've got plenty of things to talk about right now.
