Tonight on the readout, even Speaker McCarthy said their only goal is to burn the place

down.

And that's certainly not what our country needs right now and to heard our veterans

and law enforcement and seniors and children with the government shutdown and put our

military apparel.

So we need a solution.

Well, it's going to be hard to find that solution when you send everybody home for the weekend

instead of sticking around so, you know, do the work that you are elected to do and that

you get paid for with our tax dollars, Speaker McCarthy.

I'll talk to Congressman Maxwell, Alejandro Frost about that as well as a major development

from the White House today on gun violence.

And later Howard Stern has conservatives clutching their pearls by proclaiming himself

woke and calling out a famous former friend for his sexist remarks.

What we begin tonight with the right wing takeover of the U.S. Supreme Court.

Thanks to pro-publica, Supreme Court members have drawn fresh scrutiny from some for some

ethical lapses.

After the nonprofit media organization revealed how justice's Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas

accepted lavish trips from Republican billionaires that they failed to disclose.

Pro-publica reported, for example, that Justice Alito went on vacation with a billionaire

Republican donor and failed to recuse himself from multiple cases involving that donor.

And of course, there are all the goodies billionaire Harlan Crow has bestowed upon Justice Thomas

from John's to his home with a private garden of evil to buying Clarence's mother's house
