Okay, so big announcement this week.

We had just announced, if you didn't see the episode that published in your main feed earlier

this week, that we are doing our next live show in Los Angeles on September 30th at Dynasty typewriter. We are so excited. Russ and I have been

planning this for quite a bit and we're thrilled to be back in LA. This is our second LA live show.

The show is called Katie Perry, Lady Gaga and the millennial diva conundrum. It will be happening

soon after Katie Perry drops her new record, 143, and right before Gaga appears in

the big blockbuster musical, Joker Folly Adieu, and we thought it was a good time to sit

down with some folks and dig into this micro generation of pop divas and how they're all doing

in this kind of awkward mid-phase of their career, essentially before their legacy acts,

but they're not zeitgeisty anymore, and how the two emblematic divas of that time period

are each differently navigating this tricky period and what each can learn from one another

and what they can sort of tell us about this era of a pop divas career in general.

So I'm going to be joined by the LA Times as Michael Wood, who is on this very episode today, as well as by Pop Pantheon Fave Molly, Mary O'Brien, and perhaps some surprise guests to be announced soon. We'll, of course, also be diving deep on 143 and talking about everything related to that album since we will have heard it at that point. And then we'll, of course, also talk about any Lady Gaga music she chooses to graze us with, either from LG7 or from Joker by the time we hit the stage.
