When I saw the award-winning movie Three Billboards outside Edding, Missouri,

I was just floored. I was floored not only by the acting at Francis McDorman, but just

the fact that I knew it was based on a true story. The movie was about this mother

that fought the local law enforcement that fought the community that fought her neighbors and her

effort to find who had brutally set her daughter on fire killing her daughter during a rape.

So difficult. In my mind, as I was watching it, I was thinking about a young woman,

whose father, I felt that I got to know after his daughter had been set on fire and killed.

The whole time I was watching the movie, I knew it was based on a true story.
