into these practice notes. Peyton Watson and

Spencer Jones both practiced today, but only in the non-contact portions. That's an important note

there. Neither guy is cleared yet for game one. David Adelman did say he's hopeful that's still a

possibility, but for now, neither Peyton Watson nor Spencer Jones have been cleared now our

Watson misses the entire first round so just how hopeful is Adelman to see Peyton play in

If you look at what Yokic has done in the last 10 to 11 games, that makes a lot of sense. He's in a pretty good rhythm. Christian Brown had a different feel. He said, I think rest is a big deal for For us especially, we have guys that are banged up, and I think David Adelman saw it as different for everyone. The rest is important for the injured guys, but he gets where Yokic is coming from. Wouldn't you want to keep playing basketball if you could play at that level? On playing the Minnesota Timberwolves again for the third playoff series in four seasons, Yokic says, look, every game is a good game, every series is good, hopefully this one is going to be good. On guarding Rudy Gobert or vice versa, he says, look, everyone's going to have to guard everyone. Both teams are going to see different coverages. These are not one-on-one matchups. It's team versus team. He did have a lot to say about Anthony Edwards, though. He says his change of pace is incredible, his ability to finish, to shoot, to create separation.

He's so talented and his ability to make shots.

He can do it on both sides.

He's definitely going to be a challenge for us, Yokoj said.

Christian Brown felt differently about Minnesota.

He did not hide from the potential animosity, the fact that it's a rivalry. He said, yes, absolutely. It's a team we see a lot of. It's a team we've had a lot of good series with. And the last time we played them in the playoffs, we lost a tough game. We have to get them back. It's a fun series. On Anthony Edwards, who Christian Brown might be guarding, he says he's shooting the ball a lot more and a lot better this season.

He's just a tough guard. He can do everything. He's physical. One of the best in the league.

David Allenman wanted nothing to do with this being a rivalry or extending it all the way back to playoff series past.

He says, it's 2026. That was a long time ago. Both teams are different.
