Hey there, folks.

It is Tuesday, February 3rd, and developments overnight in the search for today's show host Savannah Guthrie's

missing mother. The sheriff now says he believes she was abducted. And with that, welcome to

this episode of Amy and T.J. Robes. This was kind of a fast moving, fast developing story yesterday.

And late last night, the sheriff finally come out. He was using the words like crime scene, grave concern, abduction is now coming out of his mouth.

Yeah, and just you and I both looked at each other and thought, what the hell?

This woman is dropped off, this 84-year-old woman by her family just before 10 p.m. on Saturday night, and she is abducted

in the overnight hours in her own home and is nowhere to be found, and whatever was left behind

was obvious enough for police to immediately, pretty much immediately, call her home a crime scene.

That is beyond bizarre and puzzling and deeply concerning.

Let's tell you where we are right now in this investigation.

Again, fast-moving story.

You just mentioned ropes.

This was Saturday night the last time anybody saw her, and she didn't show up for church on Sunday Sunday and that's when calls of concern started coming in and police were called about a missing person. Now missing person immediately and pretty quickly like you said robs went from missing person to a crime now. They're not just out there with volunteers and search dogs and drones walking through fields randomly like they were.

This was not a dementia situation.

He has from this first, the outset, he wants everybody to understand.

This woman is sharp as she can be.

He keeps using the quote, sharp as attack.

Keeps using that.

Once she did not wander off, this is not a situation.
