It's the place where we use common sense as an antidote to the idiocy currently being exhibited by our government,

which reached peak plankery over the weekend.

In response to a COVID variant, which has so far affected less than 10 people in this country,

Boris Johnson and his henchman, the Brothers Grimm, Messrs Witty and Valence, had the gall to hold a press

conference on Saturday, at which they told us absolutely nothing, attempted to scare

a hell out of people and announced that things can only get worse before Christmas.

Is there anything these absolute no-marks won't do to terrify, misinform and

manipulate the people who gave them their trust and asked them to run the country sensibly

for the next few years? What happened over the weekend was nothing short of disgusting.

And I am disgusted, ladies and gentlemen this morning, by what I saw, because I think there is

absolutely no need for any of the

measures that have been brought in. Let me tell you, I for one am sick of it. I will not wear a

mask in a shop. I will not wear a mask on public transport and I will not comply with these latest

ludicrous guidelines which will do nothing as we have already seen to stop the spread of what

appears to be a very benign

version of COVID-19. Enough already. Let's give Boris Johnson a message this morning. We're not
