Today on Marvel News Daily, we're talking about New Mutants, the long-delayed finale in the 20th century Fox X-Men series of films,

produced long before Disney acquired the film studio.

This movie will be in theaters one month from today, April 3rd, and despite previous announcements regarding reshoots for the film,

director Josh Boone's original version will be released.

Thanks to movie theater chain AMC, we've

learned two things about it. The first, it will be rated PG-13, dispelling any notions

that the film's horror sequences might warrant in R-rating. We also know that it will not

be a particularly long film running only one hour and 39 minutes. We've also gotten our

first television spot for the film, which features

a lot of the same clips as the theatrical trailer, but we have the reveal that Demon Bear

is our villain. We know now that it's the primary focus of the film. Hopefully this

brings elements from one of the most beloved storylines from the New Mutants comic book from

1985. And I cannot wait to see it. What about you? Are you excited for new mutants?
