I'm here with WXPians John Morrison, hey John, hey it was so Robin.

It is new music Friday that day of the week when most new albums come out, we go through

a great big pile of them and we find the best ones we think you should hear now.

We'll just tell you right off the bat, the top of the show, the biggest release today.

On the list of albums out on September 3rd is The New In From Drake. It's called Certified

Lever Boy, a highly anticipated, super hyped release and virtually, no one on the

planet was able to hear it in advance, including us John, I tried to tell them we were kind

of a big deal. Yeah, yeah, they weren't having it now.

So if you want to hear more about the Drake album, NPR's Pop Culture Happy Hour podcast

will have a bigger discussion on it next Tuesday, September 7th. We are kicking off this week's

new music Friday with an absolutely stunning new album from the rapper Little Sins. It's

called Sometimes I Might Be Introverts.

I'm not into politics, but I know it's not time.

Parts to the world still living in a part time. But I don't take this winners flag as career

suicide. The rush should have been a friend when you're grandma died. I see the ill-seed

of the old lady in her bed. I see a soul cry. So let's everybody get closer to death.

This is Little Sins. Her new album is called Sometimes I Might Be Introvert. This is the

opening cut called Introvert. And John, man, right out of the gate, you can hear she is

taking an absolutely enormous swing on this album. Yeah, absolutely. Her music generally

Little Sins has like a lot of fire, a lot of complexity, her production, and the musical

choices that she makes are always top notch. And she seems to like rhyming over like these
