into the winter, blah, even though technically I guess it's still fall. I'm feeling the arrival

of the holiday season in a way that I'm not fully prepared to accept.

It is funny to think about Thanksgiving

as this strange sort of subsidiary as Christmas.

Like, are there Thanksgiving songs?

I used to think the turkey trot had to be a Thanksgiving song,

not just a race, you know?

Maybe there's songs out there that just,

we could slide into that position.

Like, Alanis Morissette's thank you, maybe just gets it for getting that title first.

Oh, I just, I just Googled and Little Eva has one called Let's Turkey Trot from 1962.

Maybe that one will get us going.

Little Eva, of course, famous for the locomotion.

So maybe that would be a good one.
