I'll realize as we're talking, you know, three, four, five albums in,

I'll kind of start to identify some themes about what we're discussing. This week, for me,

those themes were just immediately apparent. This is a week where we're going to talk about a lot

of veteran artists, a lot of, like, musicians who who in some cases are well into their 60s,

and that, to me, I don't know, felt really refreshing.

Oh, I agree. And I think they're all observers of life, and it really comes across in their lyrics,

and they're very emotional in their songwriting.

We've got new records from Robert Forster of the Go-Betweens, a new record from Mark

Riebo, Thalia Zetic from bands like Come.

Some of these artists have been making music for 40-plus years.

First List, and I dare say, might be some of their best recordings.

And I think a lot of it has to do with where the world is at right now.

I think a lot of these seasoned artists feed off of that and are inspired by it for better or worse.
