This one feels a little sensitive.

Welcome to another episode of Lightworkers Lounge. I'm your host and astrologer

Stephanie Powers. Let's talk about this first new moon of 2024. You know how when you're young,

let's say your teenage years or adolescents, your parents or your caregivers,

whoever raised you, they told you what to do.

And as a kid, as a teenager, you can't wait until you are in your Capricorn energy, so

speak, until you control your life and you make your own decisions.

I was raised by an Aquarius mother who, you know, Aquarians, they don't like rules, restrictions

and parenting. They just want to have fun and think outside the box and play. Well, you know how your

parents tell you what to do and you're like, I don't want to do that.

You don't know what's best for me.

But then you grow up and you're like, yeah, they were right.

They knew what was best.

I think of this with my mom, too.

Her parenting style was, Steph, if you want to go out all night with your friends as a teenager

and just stay out till midnight 1 a.m.
