I've been loving the music of Swedish musician Christian Matzen since the late 2000s,

including a passionate tiny desk concert he did in 2009.

For me, his storytelling is the key, along with the imagery he paints.

Callus Man on Earth has a new album coming in April. It's called Henry Street.

And the first song we get to hear is called Every Little Heart.

Well, the song Every Little Heart came to me almost like a celebration of

after like many others, I ended up in a dark pit of depression and not knowing what to do

during the pandemic and ending up just kind of going through the motions and

tucking my heart away a little. And then I somehow that little bugger,

it came to find me. And you know, the little day dreamer in me wasn't

gone and the you know, the stubborn optimist still there, same one that you know,

made me start with music to dive into that. So it's about that.

It's about the other side, finding ways to be playful and daydreaming again.

And we recorded in North Carolina one of the first songs we recorded.
