Problem With It. When I brought Problem With It to the table, Plains already existed. We had a couple

my back pocket for something wasn't sure when I was going to pull it out, and you know, it doesn't

feel innately country to me. It didn't feel innately country, and that was sort of the intention of

the project was to break country songs. It kind of has like a Southern rock feel to me,

but it just really clicked in, and it gave us sort of immediately a more dynamic sound.

Yeah, I was blown away when Katie showed me kind of the bones of Problem With It at that first

writing session for Plains, and you know, a lot of that first session was us just hanging out

and catching up on life, showing each other what we were working on, and when Katie came back with

the flesh out lyrics, she told me that they were inspired by some things we'd been talking about

that I was going through at the time, and I think that's such a cool, surprising part of the

collaborative nature of this project that like just stuff we were talking about as friends kind of
