It's all songs considered from NPO Music. I'm Bob Boyland. It's been about six years since the

0:06.0

band Granddaddy put out their final album. It were an NPO Music favorite when we launched in 2007

0:11.3

and now the Modesto California Band is releasing a collection of B-Sides and Rarities called

0:17.2

Someday, XS Baggage. And it felt so good to hear their music again. Jason Lidel will take us

0:23.6

to the song The Town Where I'm Living Now. It's actually odd for me to remember when and how I

0:30.5

wrote a song but I do remember making this one. My dad, my stepmom, lived in this town called Sonora

0:37.6

1:15.1

production and trickery and stuff like that.

1:18.9

And the town where I'm living now, wetting greens, reek and the

1:48.8

record to hell by the side. The campfire was campfire and many smiles in the waters, the worst

2:31.3

moments, bright BMX bikes every now and then stopping to cry on the lawn.

2:42.5

And the trees have turned black and they're full of insane birds that can't remember

3:21.1

the fights by night in the graveyard, the multi car pile ups by day.

3:30.6

And the freight train to railed and sank in the lake like a lobster bubbles away.

3:52.0

and

4:06.8

when you get here, welcome to this town sign that scares little kids with its goals and it's

4:16.1

a core and when you leave here, get the hell outside as well kept and pretty with floral decor.
