milestones that used to be, I guess, the guiding light for all people becoming adults have shifted

because they are either unattainable now or we have just changed our priorities.

And the four classics that were always around were moving out of of your parents home. That was always a big milestone moment. That's it. I'm out of here. Not your rules anymore. All those times you said, my roof, my rules doesn't apply anymore. I'm out. That one doesn't exist anymore because people can't afford to move out. So they're staying at home longer. And it's a cushyy situation as long as you got good Wi-Fi at home I could live I actually hear about people

that moved out and then moved back home and they realize it's way better that milestone is out

entering the labor force aka getting a job having a real job that was always a big milestone

now it seems like no one really works anymore. They have like made up jobs. Yeah. Or they have like work from home jobs. Not that those aren't jobs, but it's not like you're really entering a workforce in that traditional way. Right. I always like, like younger people are just not ambitious anymore. They're cool with just getting by.

You know what I mean?

They don't have the goals of getting their own super yacht. They don't really want, exactly. They don't want a super nice car. They don't want to eventually get a house or anything. They're kind of cool with just living day to day. Well, I think the reason for that, I'm sure there's a ton of reasons, but I think that we get our dopamine

just chill the third milestone there's not really motivation there because of a class.

The classic one used to be getting married, Ali. But as you know, people don't want to do that anymore either because the marriage rates are down. And then the fourth and final milestone is having at least one child. And people are like, kids are expensive and they're constantly covered in snot. What about? And I have friends that have kids. you go like that doesn't look like the life I want to live at all.
