It took a while, a long time, but Carlos Mendoza finally settled on a lineup that we had talked about,

I guess I would say a month and a half ago,

because lineup construction has been a topic since spring

training. I was certainly with keeping it to what it was to begin with which was

NIMO leading off Lindor Alonzo. We've seen a lot of variations of that over the last few weeks.

The one thing that has clearly worked and no one would change.

I don't think anyone would change is Lindor leading off.

It's worked on a lot of levels.

Francisco Lindor has been opened up by moving into the lead off spot.

That one's a clear, that's a clear victory, right? I think we're all good with that. He went through a mini-slump, the end of London, into the first game of the Miami series, then in game two he woke up he had two hits he hit a home run

We saw Lindor start to slowly wake up and look in the case of the finale of this series the walk that he drew to start the ninth inning and then stealing second base pretty big moments so

Lindore in the lead off fall I think we're all good with

Brandon Nimo has been a problem. Brandon Nimo was

batting third and it was not working. So we see Alonzo who is batting two and

that wasn't working go back to cleanup where he has bad his most success,

which naturally meant let's get Nimmo out of the three spot and let's try him in the two spot,

which was where I think we were all kind of on the same page when they did decide to go

Lindor lead off spot. Go Lindor 1, go Nimo 2, Nimo takes a lot of pitches. It allows Lindor

more opportunities to steal a base. What's kind of funny is that when

Lindor walked in the ninth inning, Nemo had a long at bat, he struck out, and Lindor didn't run. He even run on the two-two pitch he actually didn't run

until the JD Martinez at bat maybe at that point because there's one out his

thought kind of changed look Brandon Nemo is not hitting and Pete
