Eric Swalwell has dropped out of the race for California governor.

And with that, welcome to this episode of Amy and T.J.

Robs dropped out because of serious allegations, including a rape allegation.

But Robs, it's important.

And we'll get into, dropped out of the race, did not resign from Congress.

We'll get into all of that.

But this is news.

He didn't have any other choice, did he?

No, there was not one ounce of support from anyone, coming from anywhere. And the calls were coming

from his own party, from the highest echelons, asking him, telling him, urging him to drop out

of the governor's race. But it's interesting because just by dropping out of the

governor's race, that doesn't end his problems. In fact, so many are just beginning. As you mentioned,

he's facing a criminal investigation here in Manhattan. We'll get into how some California DA is now

saying they're looking into possible charges, a Department of Homeland Security probe, and an expulsion vote in Congress.

Because as you point out, yes, he is still a sitting member of Congress.

His term does not end until January of 27.

Most popular state in the U.S., right? California.
