Hello, hello everybody. I'm Lexi Lombard, host of the Lexi podcast, and I'm going to give a little life update, some plans for the podcast, as well as get into your questions, do a little Q&A of the show, of myself, and give a recap and some announcements. So I would say if you're a new

listener, maybe this isn't the episode to start with, but if you're a fan of the show, then let's chat.

I have recently gotten a new job. My friend Lexi Jay has opened up a boutique in West Hollywood.

If you're in Los Angeles, you have to come by and shop and say hi. Effectively, the store is a department store for a lot of brands that don't

have their own brick and mortar. So Claudia Salusky Cycler is there. We also have Fancy Club. We have

Bella Venice and we have Campbell and Kramer. Who else? There's so many Angel Moon, which is these two Malibu

girls that make the softest materials. We have Amanda Steele's steel. It's a fun time. And it's been

fun to get out. I'm extroverted and I think it's been hard to be fully self-employed as mostly a

team of one. Anytime I do it, I can do it for about two years at a

time and then I start to itch and need something else. So whether that be going to school,

interning somewhere, getting a side job, just anything of the sort. Last time I was starting to

itch, the pandemic happened. So then I just doubled down and ended up creating this show.

So we've hit five years in November. It will be five years of the show, which for those that

didn't know, this was actually a fan requested endeavor. I had been a YouTuber since I was a tween.

Started making YouTube videos in eighth grade. It was so much fun and I was constantly sharing my

life. Influencer was not a term yet. This industry was not the billion dollar industry that it is now.

It was niche. It was random. It was fun and it was a small community of friends that randomly,

this surprises me more than anything in the world, I'm still friends

with to this day. And I think that's amazing that my internet friends are some of my best friends.

Literally, my roommate who I live with, I have been friends with since I was 13 and we met on

the internet. And I was vlogging my time at school. And then in March of 2020, obviously COVID happened. And my roommate in New York had gone back to his hometown. And I was alone. And I was vlogging all the time, week one alone in New York City, week two alone in New York City. And after the year went on, it got to the point where I was so chatty and I think people were having a rise in podcast and

people like, I think you could do a podcast. I think you should do a podcast. I thought everyone
