So Mayo, since we recorded last, we've gotten not one but two new betas of iOS 17.2.

I. 17.2 beta 2 was last Thursday, pretty much right after we stopped recording and the big thing here is

iPhone 15 pro you can now take spatial photos and videos for Vision Pro.

So this is in the settings app under camera under formats there's a new toggle for enabling

recording spatial video then you bounce back to the camera app you swipe over to

video and there's a new little like Vision Pro icon kind of like the icon that

appears for 3D movies like we talked about last week and you tap that turn your

phone horizontal and then you're taking spatial video that you can watch later on Vision Pro.

So obviously this is 15 Pro exclusive because of the camera layout, right?

So they put the October 1stending camera horizontal

horizontal when you're holding your phone in landscape.

So on my phone which is a 14 pro I can't actually use this feature so I do have one

clarifying question for you to start with so you turn on the format for the Vision Pro mode

right in the set. Correct. Then you go to video tab in the camera app. So at

that point then is that little like vision symbol always there and you can just

toggle into it and toggle out of it. Yep you tap on it it's right next to the lens

button so you tap it turns on and then all the other controls disappear obviously because you can't customize anything else okay

but you can't change anything else that includes like adjusting like lighting and brightness and contrast controls you press the button to record in spatial video and that's all you can do.

Yeah, so although you have to toggle it on in the settings you don't have to like go back and forth to settings app every single time to if you want to take the video like it's just a toggle that appears there

conditionally and if you go in then if you turn it on or off it changes the mode of the camera kind of like

life photos disabling or enabling, right,

for the main, for the main, or action mode.
