To be able to, you know, be in Canton with all the greats, you know, the people that I watched growing up, emulating my game after, you know, taking a little bits from here and there of all the grates that are, that have gold jackets already.

And from my neighborhood growing up, you know, just to be an example to all of them.

You know, it just makes you want to keep on living right and paying it for it.

That is newly elected Hall of Fame wide receiver Calvin Johnson, who walked away from the Lions and the NFL in 2015 as one of the most esteemed players in Detroit history.

Calvin Johnson weekend just wrapped up, and you covered him during his nine-year career with the Detroit Lions, and Calvin Johnson was just elected to the Pro Football

Hall of Fame, now officially establishing him as one of the greatest receivers and players of all

time. So what's their reaction been like from the man himself? Well, Calvin Johnson's not somebody who gets emotional ever.

If you remember him during press conferences during his time in the NFL, he wouldn't say all that much.

He's a very quiet guy.

But you could see on the video that they showed on the NFL honors show, he got emotional.

He started crying.

He started tearing up.
