And you're listening to a brand new episode of New Generation Declassified here exclusively on the two-man power trip of wrestling's podcast, The Empire. If you didn't know by now, my name is Chad. And every single week, we step back into the new generation to explore and declassify some old

stories, maybe some stuff you've never heard before, but regardless of what it is,

it's going to talk about something specific to the timeframe of the WWF's new generation.

And this week is no different as we look back at the January 16th, 1995 Monday Night

Raw, featuring a special guest pulling his second week of duty for the WWF as Captain Kirk himself,

William Shatner joins the Monday Night Raw fracas to aid Mr.

Brett the hitman hard in his match with Double J. Jeff Jarrett.

More on that in just a couple of minutes.

But as we sit here and get ready to talk about this Monday Night Raw,

I want to welcome in my sidekick for the evening from the

crack broadcast team holding it down there in the Sunshine State. Mr. Timmy W. Tim, how's

everything going in your world this evening? Everything's going great. I'm filling in for CP.

I hope I can fill in some big shoes, but I'm feeling pretty aggyle today.

So I don't know how big the shoes are just yet. But CP doing his thing on vacation,

somewhere exotic, I'm sure, somewhere lovely. Social distancing, of course, taking precautions, making sure you don't breathe on anybody. I did it myself last week. It was quite the task, but we got through it. And last week's episode, being a solo shot and a fun one, listening back to it and kind of getting a vibe for more of an intimate conversation, talking about a very intense interview with

the macho man, Randy Savage and Vince McMahon, kind of detailing. Was that the last shot for the

macho man and the WWF championship? Obviously, yes, it would be if we looked in the crystal ball,

but at that point, we didn't know it. And even at this point in January

...
