He wound up transferring to Oregon State just as the Pac-12 blew up. Now he’s at Florida State trying to help the Seminoles keep their momentum going after an ACC title season. The new starting, well, we don't know if he's won the starting job yet, but we think he's going to be the starting quarterback at Florida State. DJ Ui Ungalalae joins a show. I visited with him in Tallahassee. He is a very happy dude in Tallahassee. His third college team, he's back in the
0:24.8	ACC, and I think he's got some big expectations for this year. And it was an interesting
0:30.9	situation because this is a guy who went to Clemson as the number one recruit. He became the starter right after Trevor Lawrence.
0:40.5	He played well, but not as well as they would have liked.
0:44.9	And then he ends up going to Oregon State.
0:46.4	Has a very good year with Oregon State last year.
0:48.0	But of course, before that season even started, the Pack 12 blew up.
0:52.1	And so had to figure out what he wanted to do.
0:55.1	He could have gone to the draft, decided he wanted to do another year of college football,
0:59.0	and looked around in Florida State is the one that he wound up in.
1:05.5	And it's interesting because he talked to Jordan, Travis, got some advice.
1:09.5	He had some friends who'd played at Florida State, some friends who'd played against
1:13.8	Florida State, and really had just a good idea of what he wanted.
1:19.5	He had worked out with Taylor Kelly, the former Arizona State quarterback when he was
1:24.7	growing up, and Taylor Kelly played quarterback for Mike
1:27.5	Norville at Arizona State. So DJ, you did a lot of research going into this situation. And
1:34.5	it's interesting because when he committed to Florida State, I thought I was kind of lukewarm on it.
1:40.4	After being in Tallahassee talking to DJ, seeing how his teammates react to him, I tell you what,
1:46.7	it feels like a very good fit. It feels like this is going to work very, very well in Tallahassee.
1:54.3	And it's a situation where Florida State is they're not rebuilding because the build to get to last year to that 13 and 0 ACC championship
