Well you can say that Charlie Borman and Ewen McGregor are the ones that kicked it all off with long way round and then followed up with long way down.

The whole adventure biking thing, but National Geographic now has picked up on it and they've got a show that they're doing that's airing right now

and it's a whole series that's going on called Riding Morocco, Chasing the Dakar

and we're going to talk about that today, but I'll tell you I've been out for the past couple

of weeks now exploring the back roads of British Columbia and especially around the the areas around Lillowat and the Duffy Lake Road.

I have seen so many adventure bikes out now. It seems to be it used to be that you'd always see

cruising bikes and they sort of dominated the market. Well as you probably

already know the adventure bike segment is growing faster all the time. Well I

have seen more adventure bikes on the road

I think than I've ever seen before.

And groups them riding everywhere.

It's completely exciting for me,

except for the fact that I'm actually not on a motorcycle right now, which is just tearing me apart.

But that's another story.
