In this episode, I explore new headlines and evidence in the Idaho College Murders case. What are the facts, and what is fiction??  A search of Bryan Kohberger's parents' home yielded an ID card that’s reportedly connected to someone from the quadruple homicide. However, police have not officially confirmed the details due to the gag order in the case. It’s also being reported that there is evidence of cyberstalking by Kohberger toward one of the victims. Furthermore, headlines state that Kohberger is being investigated for similar cases, yet officials quickly stated that there is no evidence that he is connected to other cases.

Welcome back. This week we need to talk about all of the news reporting coming out about

0:07.3

Brian Coburger with regard to the Idaho College Murderers cases. There has been a lot of media

0:14.7

reporting and some of it I've got questions about. Some of it when you look at the headlines might

0:19.2

skew it in a totally different direction. Some of it's coming from sources even though there's this

0:23.8

non dissemination order and that non dissemination order is still up on RIT. We have a lot to talk

0:29.1

about today but the quote I kept thinking about as I was prepping this episode because we're

0:34.0

going to talk about what this really means in the context of a trial in the context of a fair

0:39.4

trial is from Justice Brandeis who is a former Supreme Court Justice that said publicity is

0:46.9

justly commended as a remedy for social and industrial diseases. Sunlight is said to be the best

0:54.0

of disinfectants and that was from Harper's from December 20th 1913 and we still talk about

1:01.5

sunlight being the best disinfectant but where does that bump up against the right to a public trial

1:07.5

and an impartial jury and with all of that we're going to be doing updates and talking about those

1:12.4

topics in today's episode. Let's go. Welcome to the Emily show. I'm Emily Debaker at the Internet's

go-to legal analyst and big fan of the Cursey words. I've been a licensed attorney for over 17

1:24.4

years. I'm a former prosecutor and I break down the legal side of pop culture and entertainment

1:29.2

stories. We can't stop talking about we should just get into it. Let's go.

It's coming quickly. It's freezing while I'm recording today but spring and summer are on the way

1:56.2

and there is nothing like having support that you can rely on without feeling like you're being

suffocated. Honey Love is not just your go-to for shapewear that won't roll down. They have incredible

bras and underwear but do not skip out on their sleepwear. It is keep cool sleepwear that also
